Steven Morris Dombrowski

Steven Morris "Steve" Dombrowski, of Pickerington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026. He was born on May 20, 1951, in Dover, Ohio, to the late Stanley and Helen Dombrowski.

Steve was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who would do anything for his family. He made it a priority to be present in their lives-whether that meant driving across the country to attend a game, making time for a visit, or simply being there when he was needed. No gesture was ever too big or too small when it came to caring for his wife, children, and grandchildren. Though he was a homebody at heart, his love and dedication to his family always came first.

Steve was a faithful and active member of Peace Lutheran Church, where his quiet faith and steady presence were a blessing to many. He was involved with youth soccer in Pickerington for many years, having success as coach and mentor to many. He also had a special love for model trains and found great joy in the hobby.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Karen Dombrowski; his sons, Reverend Joseph Dombrowski and Jared (Megan Wharton-Dombrowski) Dombrowski; his daughter, Jaclyn Cassidy; and his cherished grandchildren, Harris Dombrowski, Hayes Dombrowski, Atlas Dombrowski, Colin Cassidy, and Makenna Cassidy. He is also survived by his sisters, Janet Gahn and Amy Dombrowski, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Dombrowski; his brother, Craig Dombrowski; and his brother-in-law, Stephen M. Gahn.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home – Pickerington (550 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147) from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. An additional visitation will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, followed by the funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Betzer Cemetery.

Steve's life was a beautiful example of steady love, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
