Funeral services will be held on Sept 30 at 10 AM at Scholastica Church in Aspinwall. A service will also be held on Oct 7 at 10 AM at Harmony Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Harrisville.
Kathleen Patricia Erdner worked for Chubb Insurance.

Kathleen Patricia Erdner.
Our loving Kathy, daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, grandmother, aunt and great aunt. Kathy was also a Sister in the Lord - Sister Marie Edward - that was the name that was chosen for her at the Convent. But the Lord had other plans for her and she married the love of her life, got a house and had 3 boys. She made their house a home just the way she wanted and she did it so very well!
She was an inspiration to each and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. Kathy's love for her family and friends was enormous, even though she herself was small in stature.
She blessed so many with her hand-crafted cards. Inside she included messages for God's blessings upon us and stickers that were picked special for each and every one and she even decorated the envelopes! Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, baptisms, confirmations, holidays, sympathy, thank you cards and, "just because she loved us" cards.
In her lifetime she would have made THOUSANDS of them.
It wasn't just cards, she had crocheted and knitted prayer shawls, blankets, doilies, hats, scarves, mittens, and small animals to be given with love. She would pray for the person to whom the item would be gifted as she made it. She was excited to share her love of crocheting especially with those who shared that same gift. Kathy put a part of herself into each and every creation she made.
And she didn´t stop there,
she would make special desserts and meals for everyone who visited, sending goodies of one kind or another home with all. She would also make food and desserts for those in the neighborhood when they needed a helping hand. And when she was in need they returned the favor for her and Cliff.
Every year she upheld her tradition of homemade cut out cookies for her grandchildren´s birthdays, their name and age would be cut out and each would be decorated with the icing color matching the theme of their celebration.
At Christmas, her tradition was picking out a special ornament for Greta and Graham - likely from a sport or activity they were into that year. She wanted all to feel loved but especially her cherished grandchildren. She would make her husband and sons their favorite Christmas cookies every year too.
She would also put her love and care into decorating the home with holiday cheer in every corner! Right down to special napkin holders for our holiday dinners.
In spite of her suffering with pains, she wanted to show her love for us in the ways that meant the most to her. She
knew there would be a day when she couldn´t. Even on her last day she was worried about us, not herself.
The blessings she has poured over each and everyone of us is immeasurable.
May we never forget the love she showed us and may it make a difference to all of us every day.
Kathy, dear Mom... deserves to be remembered always and will forever be in our hearts.
