Kathleen A Kessler

Kathleen A. Kessler (nee Bonazza), age 74, passed away on April 12, 2025. Beloved wife of John R. Kessler; loving mother of Stephanie (Joseph) Goetz, Marc (Pam) Myers, Rebecca (James Evans) Myers, Stephen (Danielle) Myers, and Daniel Myers; caring step-mother to Keli Kessler, Erin Kessler, and John Michael Kessler; dear sister to Debra (Scott) Douglas and David Bonazza; aunt to 10 nephews; and loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Irene Bonazza, and brother, Thomas Bonazza.
Kathy was loved by many in addition to her extended family, friends, sorority sisters, car club enthusiasts, neighbors and life-long friends. Kathy was a dedicated, loyal friend. She will be remembered for her bright smile that would warm a room, kind eyes and loving heart. She always had a kind word for everyone. Her Italian heritage fueled her love of Italian cooking, at which she excelled! She loved her children and treated their friends as though they were part of her family.
Her family was the most important part of her life. She had the most joy seeing them all together. She put her extraordinary culinary skills to good use in preparing massive gourmet meals for the family gatherings during holidays.
As the children got older, she excelled in transitioning her "stay at home" skills to business. She became a highly regarded, sought after senior insurance underwriter.
In 2001, she met the love of her life John Kessler, and they began the happiest years of their lives together. They enjoyed their golden years at their waterfront second home on Marblehead, visiting Hilton Head Island & traveling.
Donations to The American Cancer Research Foundation or the Disabled American Veterans are preferred, however flowers can be sent to Tomon & Son's Funeral home also.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 5-6:30 P.M. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Tomon & Sons Funeral Home, 7327 Pearl Rd, Middleburg Hts, 44130. A Service will take place at 6:30 P.M.
