Kathleen Larke

Kathleen (Kathie) Elizabeth Larke was born August 3, 1941, in Chicago, IL and died peacefully in her home on January 17, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of Katherine and Sylvester. She dearly missed her husband of nearly 60 years, Harold Raymond (Ray) Larke Sr., who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Eileen (Ed) Walsh, Nancy (Andy) Paciga, Mary Catherine, and John. Kathleen is survived by her six children: Karen (Wally) Schultz, Harold Raymond Jr. (Phyllis)Larke, Michael (JoAnne) Larke, Laura Larke, Rita (Jeff) Pereira and Daniel Larke. She was a much-loved grandmother of Daniel (Patty) Mitton, Christopher (Colleen) Mitton, Harold Raymond Larke III, Cristina Larke, Michael Larke Jr., Robert (Ernah) Larke, Danielle Larke, Jeff Hisson, Peter (Kaila) Hisson, Jessica Larke, David Pereira, Jeff Pereira Jr., and Joshua Pereira. She was a great grandmother to nine: Daniel, Lincoln, Mason, Morgan Wesley, Wyatt, Jasmine, Sophie and Tate. She loved and was loved by many nieces and nephews. She served with great skill and compassion as an intensive care/critical care nurse at several different hospitals during her lifetime. Visitation Friday from 3 to 8 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, Il 60544. Funeral Saturday January 25, 2025, 9:30 AM from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial. Inurnment to follow, St. Mary Nativity Cemetery in Crest Hill.
