Kathleen Driggers Leviner, 97, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Born, September 5, 1927, in Marlboro County, SC she was the daughter of the late Mary Ollie Hodge Driggers.
Mrs. Kathleen was a member of Oak Grove Ministries in Wallace, SC. Lovingly known as Nee-Nee to her many grandchildren and just about everyone else, Kathleen had a special way of making life beautiful. She loved tending to her flowers and working in the yard, and it showed; she even earned the well-deserved title of ‘Yard of the Month’ more than once.
A talented seamstress, Nee-Nee could whip up just about anything; clothes, baby blankets, curtains, you name it, she made it with love. Her kitchen was always filled with the warm smell of something cooking, especially her famous biscuits, which her church friends looked forward to.
Whenever she could find a quiet moment, she liked to slip away to fish or spend time reading her Bible. But more than anything, Nee-Nee loved being with her family and friends, that’s where her heart truly shined the brightest.
Along with her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her loving husband, James H. Leviner; a son, David Leviner; and several brothers and sisters.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Jim Carlton Leviner (Patsy) of Wallace, SC, Larry “Bo” Leviner (Sarah) of Cheraw, SC, Ronnie Leviner (Gail) of Wallace, SC, and Jerry Leviner (Sherry) of Wallace, SC; grandchildren, Dawn Martin (James), James Leviner, Larry “Kaiser” Leviner, Jr. (Christie), Brad Leviner (Nikki), Andy Leviner (Trish), Malina Leviner, Melissa Chavis (Paul), Jarrett Leviner (Hadley), and Jarrica Sports (Derek); nineteen great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
