Kathleen B. Mackin
Age 69 of Wilmington, DE
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 8, 2025. She was born in Wilmington on June 14, 1955.
Kathy graduated for St. Elizabeth High School in 1973. After graduation, she worked at Wilmington General Hospital and St. Catherine of Siena Church. Kathy married the love of her life, Ed, and together they raised two devoted daughters. Some of Kathy's fondest memories were spent with her family and grandchildren and the Delaware Beaches.
She as preceded in death by her father, Francis A. Brady, Jr.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Ed; her two daughters, Marci Sutsko (AJ) and Alyse Haschak (Dave); and her three grandchildren, Chelsea, Tara, and Greyson. She is also survived by her mother, Jeanne Brady; her four siblings, Mike Brady (Suzanne), Karen Thomas (Craig), Andy Brady (Helena), Sheila Ruger (Tom); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Kathy will be dearly missed by all those that knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service for Kathy at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805, on Monday, February 17 at 11:00am. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00am-11:00am. Interment will take place privately at St. Joseph on the Brandywine.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for contributions to be made in Kathy's memory to the National Kidney Foundation Serving Maryland and Delaware for kidney awareness and treatment, https://www.kidney.org/
