Kathleen Rae "Kathy" Marsh

Kathleen Rae (Hess) Marsh, 73 of Indiana, formerly of Commodore, died Monday, December 1, 2025 at St. Andrew's Village. Born, January 7, 1952 in Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Wayne F. Hess and Lola J. (Lewis) Hess.

Kathy was a graduate of Purchase Line High School. She was a homemaker, raising her sons, Ron and Shawn Marsh. She later worked as a private care giver.

No one was a stranger to Kathy, she cared for everyone. She was loving, caring and kind to every soul she met. She was like a sweet cup of tea, who loved the Lord and every life she touched. Kathy had a beautiful singing voice. She sang in church choirs and performed many solo's. She had held memberships at First Christian Church, Indiana and previously at the Kenwood Church of the Nazarene. She formerly sang with the Sweet Adelines.

Kathy enjoyed exercising at Aging Services and the Indiana County YMCA. She was very independent, using IndiGO busses to travel throughout Indiana. She was a member of the Red Hat Society.

She is sadly missed by her son, Ronald W. Marsh (Courtney), Commodore. She is also survived by: grandchildren: Brandon and Lexi Marsh and Shawn Marsh, Jr.; Eva Novak, Leah Mack and Grace Williamson. Great grandchildren: Nona, Lincoln and Teddy Mack and Faye Williamson. Kathy is also survived by her sister, Cynthia Giardina (Joe), Mercer and by her companion, Rodger Fulton, Indiana.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Marsh, daughter-in-law, Nickole Novak and granddaughter, Gabriella Novak, and her brother: Wayne B. Hess.

Visitation is Thursday, December 4th from 10:00AM until 1:00 PM, the time of her funeral service at Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory, 965 Philadelphia St., Indiana. Rev.
