Kathleen Louise Meyer, age 76 of Casper, Wyoming, passed away at Central Wyoming Hospice on January 13, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.
Kathleen was born at Natrona County Memorial Hospital to Robert (Swede) Meyer and Patricia Bennett Meyer on May 13, 1949.
Kathy graduated from Natrona County High School and went to get her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming.
Kathy moved to Denver, Colorado for a number of years and met the love of her life (Jo) Joann Dysert.
Kathy and Jo moved back to Casper to be close to family.
Kathy retired from the Dept of Agriculture as an IT representative. She spent many hours golfing; she was a great golfer with her group of friends.
She is survived by siblings, Mary Gilmore, Robert Meyer (Susan), Paul Meyer (Karen), David Meyer (Teri), and many nieces and nephews, especially friends, Lisa Hubbard and Beth Nelson.
Kathy was preceded in death by “Her Jo”, her parents, niece Laura Meyer, brother-in-law Mike Gilmore and sister, Patricia (Meyer) Powers.
A Celebration of Life for Kathy will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to Central Wyoming Hospice, Casper, Humane Society or Meals on Wheels in Casper, Wyoming.
