Kathleen M. Monroe, age 66, of Owen, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Marshfield Medical Center with her family by her side.
Born in Kenosha on March 24, 1959, she was the daughter of Earl and Verna (Wagner) Lawrence. When she wasn't working in the factory, she enjoyed being outdoors taking drives through the countryside, going on crazy fun drives with her best friend, going to the casino, and fishing by the lake. On days she couldn't be outside, she did a lot of crafting activities, watching movies and playing games on her phone. Most of all, though, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Those who will forever cherish her memory include her children, Tammi (Nick Olson) Hazen of Dorchester, Robert Monroe of Medford, and Amanda (Tevin) Wilkes of Chelsea; her grandchildren, Josiah, Lincoln, Loki, Colby, Elijah, Isabella, Kailey and Carson and her best friend of 30 years, Christine Mazzini who loved and cared for her so much like a sister.
Preceding Kathleen in death are her parents, Earl and Verna Lawrence and her brothers, Larry and Carl Lawrence.
Her family will host a Celebration of Life in her honor at Tammi's residence in Dorchester at a date to be set later when the weather gets warmer.
Kathleen's arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home-Spencer. Family and friends are encouraged to share wonderful memories and offer condolences on www.lifetributesfuneralhome.com.
