Cherryville - Mrs. Kathleen Robinson Reinhardt, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Peak Resources in Cherryville.
Mrs. Reinhardt was born on March 23, 1934 in Gaston County, NC daughter of the late Emery Robinson and Elizabeth Mayhue Robinson. She was formerly employed by Kings Mountain Hospital. Mrs. Reinhardt was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cherryville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Odell Reinhardt, Sr.; a son, Franklin "Dale" Reinhardt, Jr. and a great granddaughter, Blakely Puckett; two sisters, Pauline Redmond and Annette Rushing; two brothers, Vernon Robinson and Emery Robinson, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Perry and husband Eddie of Cherryville; two sons, Benny Rhinehardt and wife Faye of Gastonia and Terry Reinhardt and wife Donna of Lincolnton; two brothers, Bobby Robinson of Lowell and Billy Robinson of Belmont; 12 grandchildren, Shane Reinhardt (Karen), Sandy Ledbetter (Ronnie), Joanne Smith, Ronnie Gibson, Rusty Rhinehardt, Kyle George, Eddie Perry, Heather Puckett (Will), Tyler Reinhardt (Steve), Brittany Johnson (Dustin), Ceara Lail (Christian) and Brad Hughes; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Peak Resources in Cherryville for the care they provided and for the cards, visits and prayers by the Friendship Sunday school class at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 12:45PM to 1:45PM on Thursday, May 22, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cherryville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Revs. Keith Huss and Wayne Key officiating.
Burial will follow the service at City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 112 Mt. Zion Church Road, Cherryville, NC 28021.
