Kathleen Laura Schultz, a shining light of love and selflessness, passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 74 in Libertyville, Illinois with her life partner, James Springer by her side. Born on May 2, 1951, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Chester and Marcella Ksiazyk, Kathleen's life was a testament to the power of devotion and the joy of adventure.
Kathleen's journey through life was marked by her passion for exploration and the simple pleasures that knit the fabric of daily existence. Her love for travel took her to many places, each adventure enriching her spirit and broadening her horizons. Above all, Kathleen's role as a mother and grandmother was where she shone the brightest. Her significant other, James Springer, stood by her side as a partner and confidant, sharing in the laughter and love that Kathleen brought into their lives. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Tyler Pokorny, Chase, Makayla, and Malayna Schultz and cousin Nancy ( Wayne) Cook.
Kathleen's musical talent was yet another aspect of her multifaceted life. The notes that flowed from the organ under her skilled touch were a source of joy and inspiration to all who had the pleasure of listening. Her music was a reflection of her adventurous and passionate soul, filling the room with the melody of her spirit.
