She is survived by a sister, Phyllis Hatala, Vestal, NY, 4 brothers, James Novitske, Sylva, NC, Dan Novitske, Manhattan Beach, CA, Charles Novitske, Little River, SC and Dennis Novitske (Kathy), Binghamton NY and sister-in-law Gloria Novitske, Endicott, NY and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Don Silvanic, daughter Donna Lee, parents Anne and Leonard Novitske, brothers Glenn and John Novitske.
Kathy worked as an administrative director for a large auto dealership while her husband Don caddied for Dave Hill, a well-known golf professional. She also entertained many friends including Gary Player and Gaylord Perry among others. She was also a race horse owner which included many victories for her. She was a 1963 graduate of Johnson City H.S. Kathy was always happy with a smile that shined as bright as a star. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She will now be joined with her family in heaven under the guidance of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Upon her wishes a private celebration of life will take place at a later date with family.
