Kathleen Smith Obituary
Kathleen Anne Smith, 67, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday, May 21st, at home.
Born in Pottsville on July 18, 1957, she was a daughter of the late James Smith, Sr. & Margaret (Leymeister) Smith.
Kathy was a 1975 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, and had attended Penn State University. She served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Kathy loved traveling, especially cruising. She also loved taking her great-nephews and great-niece shopping.
Kathy worked as a machine operator for Jetson Direct Mail Services, Inc., Hamburg, for 20 years. She was last employed by Diefenbach's Chips, Womelsdorf, PA. She is survived by two brothers: James Smith, & companion, Kay Ann Hardinger; of Schuylkill Haven & Kenneth Smith, Sr., & companion, Leslie Knoll Vaughan, of Summit Station, two nephews: Timothy Smith, & wife, Ashley, & Kenneth Smith, Jr., great-niece, Eva Smith, great-nephews: Ryan, Justin, Aiden, & Ethan Smith, and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Mark Brooks at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, on Tuesday, May 27th at 10:30 AM. A Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
