Kathleen Patricia Sundquist

July 19, 1932 - September 21, 2025

Kathleen was born in Tacoma to Mary and Edmund Cowan on July 19, 1932. She died peacefully at her daughter's home in Orting on September 21. 2025. Kathleen attended St. Patrick Catholic School and she graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in 1950. She loved spending time with her family of five children, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and one great-great grandchild. Kathleen loved to watch Seattle Mariner games and ice skating events on television. She also enjoyed feeding the chickens and watching the animals on her daughter's farm in Orting. Kathleen was preceeded in death by her beloved husband, Wally, sister Joyce Marinaro, and her twin sister Bernadine Livingston. She is survived by her sister, Margaret "Mike" Rosenberg, children Danette Holm (Jerry), Dan Knelleken (Elayne), Diane Knowles (Mike), Don Knelleken, and Lori Natucci (Steve). Kathleen's memorial service will be held on October 7, 2025, at 11:00AM at Gaffney Funeral Home in Tacoma. The Committal service will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetary.
