Kathlene Lukasik Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jardine Funeral Home, Inc. - Strongsville on Dec. 9, 2025.
Kathlene A. Lukasik, aged 62, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025. She was born on November 9, 1963, in Fullerton, California, Kathlene was a beacon of strength and joy to all who knew her. She was the cherished wife of Jeffery Lukasik, with whom she shared 32 years of unwavering love and companionship. Together, they built a life full of laughter, support, and mutual respect.

Kathlene's spirit of nurturing and care extended to her role as a devoted mother to her son Tyler Lukasik and his fiancée Holly Cooper. She was the heart of her family, a role she embraced with every fiber of her being. The daughter of the late Michael McMann and Charlene Bates-McMann and sister of Michael McMann (Joann) and the late Patrick McMann (Kimberly; surviving). Kathlene carried on the legacy of her parents with grace and dignity. Her warmth and generosity extended to many people too extensive to list.

Professionally, Kathlene began her career as a V.A. home loan processor, then a medical assistant in the 1990s, where she demonstrated her innate ability to care for others. However, her true passion lay in the intricate world of forensic genealogy. Kathlene was most proud of her work as a forensic genealogist for https://Ancestry.com and other companies. Her dedication to this field was not just a job but a calling, and she even established her own business, further showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and expertise.

A cancer survivor, Kathlene's resilience and determination were an inspiration to all. She faced life's challenges with unwavering courage and a positive outlook that uplifted everyone around her. Her interests were a reflection of her vibrant personality; she had a profound love for researching family trees, a testament to her deep connection with her own roots and her pride in her Irish heritage.

Kathlene's love for dogs was yet another facet of her compassionate nature. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as the companionship of her canine friends, and her laughter was a melody that resonated in the hearts of those who loved her.

Kathlene's legacy is one of love, perseverance, and the enduring bonds of family. Her memory will be treasured and kept alive through the stories, the family trees she lovingly crafted, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.
