Kathryn L. Coulter, 78, of Oil City, PA., passed away Monday March 30, 2026 at her home.

Born Sept. 26, 1947 in Titusville, PA., she was the daughter of the late Fred and Marian Irrgang Webster.

Kathy attended University of Pittsburgh and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she received her BS in Education.

Kathy had taught Home Economics for a few years, and later taught preschool.

She worked in the office of Dr. Ali Maknoon and had also worked for US Physicians for Dr. Smith and Dr. Fritz. She retired her working career from Blair Call Center.

Kathy was married on Jan. 16, 1970 to Stanley C. Coulter and he survives.

A member of First Presbyterian Church, she was a deacon, and elder, and clerk of sessions.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlepoint and cross stitching and more recently diamond art.

Kathy made shawls and baby blankets for many over the years, and happily gave them away.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons

Brian Coulter and his wife Kelly of Titusville

Jason Coulter and his girlfriend Bonnie Reinhart of Oil City

2 step grandchildren

Brandon Botzer and Breanna Valentine

And three great grandchildren

Jayden, Jacoby and Xana

She is also survived by one sister

Judith Barron of Mckean

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Gayle Baker and her husband Rex and brother in law William Barron.

Friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. Thursday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 12 Noon in the First Presbyterian Church.

Viewing will also be at the church for one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Mt. Irwin Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church

The Reinsel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
