Kathryn Lucile Faigley

Kathryn Lucile Faigley, 94 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Violet Springs Health Campus. She was born on July 2, 1928 in Lancaster to the late Homer and Lucile Hartsaugh.
She was a 1946 graduate of Laurelville High School. She married Richard Faigley in 1952. The couple had two sons, Stephen and Timothy.
Kathryn was a Secretary for the Lancaster City School District and retired with over 20 years of service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Olivedale Senior Citizens Center. Prior to COVID, Kathryn loved playing bridge at Olivedale and with her Thursday group at Frisch's. She always loved spending time with her family and friends. Her smile and love for people will be greatly missed.
Kathryn is survived by her son, Tim Faigley; grandchildren, Michael (Melanie) Faigley and Jenna Faigley; great grandson, Wade Faigley; daughter-in-law, Jane Faigley; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Faigley; son, Stephen Faigley; sister, Alice Pontious; brothers, Glenn Hartsaugh and Tom Hartsaugh.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Dr. Brian Jones officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Thursday. Burial will follow at Forest Rose Cemetery.
