Kathryn Gilmore Obituary
Kathryn S. Gilmore, 74, of Kutztown, went home with the Lord, Monday, September 15, 2025. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Lovell L. (Leming) Gilmore. Kathy was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School class of 1968. She was a school bus driver for Van Lear Equipment for many years and won second place in the PA School Bus Rodeo in 1985. Kathy had a generous spirit and was passionate about the Civil War and genealogy.
She is survived by, daughter, SuEllen L. wife of Greg Ketterer of Kutztown; son, Scott C. Kunkel of Wilderville, Oregon: grandchildren: Caleb, Emma, Orion, Liam, and Andrew; sister, Linda wife of Walter Ernst of Sinking Spring. She was predeceased by brothers, Charles and Gary.
Celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, October 4, 2025, 4pm at Grace Church, 421 West Main Street, Kutztown. Kathy’s favorite color was blue so please wear blue to the service in her honor. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Grace Church.
