Kathryn Ann (Wright) Hennigan, formerly of Ashtabula, passed away on October 31, 2023 at her residence in New Smyrna Beach, Florida
She was born in Ashtabula on May 20, 1943, the daughter of Raymond Wright and Charlotte Lane. Kathy has been a Florida resident since 1987.
In her earlier years, she worked at Diamond Shamrock. She was a hard worker and really enjoyed her time spent researching her family history.

She married Roy Hennigan on September 16, 1979 and was preceded in death by him. Kathy was also preceded in death by her parents; her sons, David and William Carnahan; her brother, Dale Otto; and step-daughter, Sherri Riffle.
Kathy is survived by her grandson, Bryan (Lauren) Carnahan and three grandchildren; her sisters, Virginia Young, Marilyn Mathews, Martha (Greg) Fortney and Patricia (Bob Frisic) Skaggs; and her step-son, Michael (LaVette) Hennigan.
At Kathy's request no services will be held. Ducro Service and Crematory, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula assisted the family with local arrangements. Please leave condolences at ducro.com

My sympathies to Kathy's family on her passing. I knew Kathy for the past 16 years as were members of the Genealogical Society here in the Edgewater and New Smyrna Beach area. Kathy served as our President for several years and was so knowledgeable about genealogy and family research and the correct way of doing our research. Her health began to decline in the past 3 to 4 years so she was not able to make our board meetings or our regular meetings. She was a special person and will be missed.
