Kathryn Dell Phipps

Kathryn Dell Phipps, age 79, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on February 17, 2026, after a prolonged battle with cancer. She was born on December 14, 1946.

She devoted over 50 years to her work as a bookkeeper, accountant, and tax preparer, helping countless clients with her skill and dedication. Beyond her career, Kathryn was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and more recently, creating greeting cards, always sharing her creativity and warmth with those around her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Bessie Burney; her brother, Neil Burney; and her husband of 22 years, Kenneth Phipps, Sr.

She is survived by her daughters, Stacy Thompson and husband Dan, Kristie Holzworth, and Lara Dinkla and husband Gerrit; her son, Kevin Phipps; her grandchildren, Natalie Thompson, Jonathan Thompson, Dharma Dinkla, Alyssa Holzworth, and Hadley Dinkla; and her cousins, Nancy Jackson and Bessie Whitten.

Kathryn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
