Kathryn L. Platt, 59, of Waukesha died at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc on Thursday, February 25, 2022. She was born in Camp LeJeune, North Carolina, on March 21, 1962, to William and Janice (nee: Jeans) Lanning. On October 7, 1995, she married John Platt in Garden City Long Island New York. Kathryn was a graduate of Garden City High School, she attended Dean Jr. College. She had worked as a brokerage assistant on Wall Street and was a veterinary assistant at Wolf Veterinary Service in Minneapolis, and most recently was a veterinary assistant at The Cream City Kitty Clinic in Waukesha. Kathryn was a faithful member at St. William Catholic Church.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 26 years, John of Waukesha. Her son, William "Billy" Platt of Waukesha, granddaughter Jolie, mother, Janice Scopes of Lafayette, Louisiana, brothers Michael (Julie) Lanning of Essex Fells, New Jersey, and Kevin Lanning of Hempstead, New York, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be at Randle Dable Brisk Funeral Home 1110 S. Grand Avenue Waukesha, WI 53186 on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 1:00PM until the 3:00 PM funeral service. Interment will be in the Prairie Home Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorials are appreciated to HAWS 701 Northview Rd. Waukesha, WI 53188.
