Kathryn Ellen Rehberger passed away suddenly on July 19, 2025. She is survived by her husband, Richard Daraio; parents Ken and Peggy; in-laws Marie Thayer, and Jerry and Mary Daraio; godparents Ellen Caulfield and Michael Dutka; god-sister Bernadette Daraio, god-daughter Kristine Caulfield, sisters-in law Regina Iacovelli and Elizabeth O'Hara and her husband John, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

During her grade school years at St. Pancras, she was a Brownie and a Girl Scout, played softball on RGMV Little League, danced at Arlene's School of Dance, and even performed with her dance group at Hershey Park.

She attended Christ the King High School and graduated from St. John's University with a degree that led her into graphic arts and packaging design often focused on Disney and Star Wars.

She loved so many things, with Christmas at the very top of her list. There was never a holiday, any holiday, without a multitude of lights and decorations on every wall and ceiling. Children naturally loved being with her, and her flower garden in Long Beach brought joy to the Long Beach Community. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her, and of course, by her dog Frodo. Her life was too short but she made her presence memorable.
