Kathryn Anne Stromberger was born on May 15, 1941 in Peoria, Illinois to Joseph & Genevieve Stromberger. She attended Eureka High School where she served as a majorette, and devout girl scout. Upon graduation, she attended airline school. She was a computer programmer analyst for Eastern Airlines in Washington D.C. After many years with Eastern Airlines she left and worked as a computer analyst on her own. After moving to several locations she settled in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. She and her lifetime friend, and partner Loetta Luan Corrigan worked successfully together as independent book consultants and Publishers until they retired.
Kathryn enjoyed road trips and loved traveling the world. Kathryn and Luan made Luan's Mother's dream come true by taking her to England at the age of 85. Luan and Kathryn married at their first opportunity on Oct. 3, 2008, in San Marcos, Ca. An event both considered the most important event of their lives.
Kathryn had many wonderful family members in Germany where she loved to visit.
Kathryn enjoyed traveling but also had a love of horses, horse racing and breeding horses. She loved her cats, which she rescued. When she was young are Father brought home an abandoned baby fox until it Could be released back into the wild. She had compassion for any living creature. She loved sports of all kinds and played on an all woman's soft ball team for many years. As a child she did tap, ballet, acrobats, and twirled a baton, of course she rode horses and loved swimming. She would help anyone and there were not many things she could not do if she set her mind to it.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her spouse Loetta Luan Corrigan, her father Joseph Stromberger and Lisa Stromberger, and her mother Genevieve Parrack and Fred Parrack. She is survived by her brother Joseph Robert Stromberger and his wife Linda, and her sister Tiena Dubois and her husband Joe. Her nieces: Julie and her husband Craig Mangold, Allison Kathryn DuBois and her husband Joe. Her nephews : Joe Stromberger III and his wife Virginia and Michael Allan Darrow. Great Nieces: Sarah Mangold, Ashley Garland and her husband Danny. Aurora DuBois, Fallon Larsen and her husband Kyle, Sophia Kathryn DuBois. Great nephew: Joe Stromberger IV and his wife Leah, John Stromberger, and Michael Martin. Great Great Nieces : Grace and Emma Garland.
Great great nephew: Daniel Garland. She is also mourned by friends and all those who
Loved and knew her.
Arrangements are private:
Donations to any cancer, heart or animal rescue group would be a kindness
Kathryn Stromberger would appreciate it.
She will be buried in the cemetery in El Paso, Illinois.
