Kathryn Suppo

Kathryn Suppo, (nee Dahms), 75, of Emerson, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Before retiring, she served as a trusted secretary in an orthodontic practice. A dedicated school board member and active parishioner of St. John Neumann R.C. Church in Califon, NJ, Kathy gave generously of her time to local charities and brought comfort to many through her volunteer work in nursing homes. She was an avid reader and TV enthusiast, never without a warm cup of coffee - morning or night. Kathy cherished the great outdoors as a family camper and proudly served as a leader for both Girl and Boy Scouts. But above all, her greatest joy came from being a grandmother. Her home was always open, filled with laughter, games, and the deep, unconditional love she so freely gave.

Cherished mother of Jason Suppo and his wife Kristina, and Melissa Suppo and her husband David Norris. Treasured "Grammy" of Xyla, Bridget, and Caddis. Loving sister of Patricia Cocuzza and her husband Carl, and John Dahms and his wife Deborah. Survived by her dear cousin, Ella Cesarano, who was like a sister to her. Predeceased by her sister, Maureen Dahms (2005).

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, at Vander Plaat Memorial Home, followed by an inurnment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ.
