Kathryn "Kathi" M. (Henderson) Weisbruch 78, of Peoria, went to be with our Lord on the 17th day of March, 2022.
She was born in 1943 to Bette and Jim Henderson in Rantoul, Illinois. She met her husband, Tom at the A & W Root Beer stand in Rantoul, IL. He was a counter boy and she was a car hop. They were married for 29 wonderful years! He preceded her in death.
They had 3 children: Marti (and John) Monckton, Bonnie Weisbruch (and Perry) Anderson, and Matt (and Anna) Weisbruch, 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Over the years, Kathi developed a great group of friends, from her days as a District 150 lunch lady, to The Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She looked forward to their monthly lunch dates!
Back in the day, she enjoyed her bowling trips, Las Vegas trips, and her Friday night Pinnacle games with her in-laws.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 21st at 10:30 am at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Peoria with a half hour visitation prior to the Mass. Fr. William Miller officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, it was her wish to help the people of Ukraine. Donations can be made to Https://support.crs.org/donate/donate-ukraine
