Kathryn Pardue White

Kathryn Pardue White, age 78 of Hot Springs, AR passed away suddenly on Thursday March 12, 2026. She was born on September 25, 1947, in Memphis, TN to Ray and Katie Pardue.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Vernon White, and one sister Bonnie Kitchens.

She is survived by her two stepsons Jeff and Pat White, two sisters Mary (Bruce) Rye, and Nita (Richard) Van Damme. She had three grandchildren Amanda, Jennifer, Monika, and Brendan. She also had two great grandchildren Tyler, and Austin.

She was a very intelligent lady accomplishing two master's degrees at Lion College, and University of Arkansas. Kathryn had an amazing career at Community Counseling Services for 31 and a half years before later retiring. A large part of her life was her spiritual life she proudly served as Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian for the women's group in the surrounding states of the First Presbyterian church. She became an elder in her local Hot Springs church as well as serving as clerk of Session for 35 years. In her leisure time she loved to read collecting hundreds of books over the years. She also enjoyed cross-stitching and traveling internationally and domestically.

A memorial service will be held Thursday March 19, 2026 at 11:00am at the First Presbyterian church located at 213 Whittington Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901 with Leslie Roper officiating.
