Kathy A. Allston, 71, formerly of Winchester, MA, passed away Sunday February 19, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at her daughter's home in Londonderry, NH. She was born on November 29, 1951 in New York, NY, a daughter of the late Duncan and Penelope (Drayer) Mullins. Kathy ran her own home daycare. She will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of the many children in her care over the years. She enjoyed quilting and crafting. She also enjoyed the theater. But the most important thing in her life always was and always will be her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Richard Allston of Londonderry; two sons, Richard Allston and wife Kelly of N. Reading, MA, and Jay Allston and wife Elizabeth of Reading, MA; and two daughters, Kerri Brusseau and husband Eric of Londonderry and Wendi Allston and significant other Mitch Krasco of Everett, MA. She was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren, Lucy, Casey, Charlotte, Abigail, Emmy, Isabelle, Jack, and Olivia; and is also survived by one brother, Duncan "Dave" Mullins of Windham, NH, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 4 – 6pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Memorial contributions may be made to Defeat MSA Alliance https://defeatmsa.org/donate-to-us/
