Albert (Buddy) W. Tolman, Jr., 72, of Derry, NH, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025 in his home with his wife by his side. Born on April 11, 1953 in Somerville, MA, to the late Albert and Ruth (Doucette) Tolman. Buddy was a man whose generous heart, unwavering love for his family, and spirited enthusiasm for sports left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Buddy's greatest joy was found in the simple moments spent with his family and friends. A passionate sports enthusiast, Buddy was a lifelong supporter of the Red Sox, New England Patriots, Celtics and Bruins. He relished cheering for his teams, and sharing game-day excitement with family and friends. His love for sports was a thread that wove through family gatherings, whether watching a game at home or recounting iconic moments with his grandchildren.

Buddy was a proud graduate of Melrose High School in Melrose, MA, and later earned an associate's degree, which led to a career as an electronics technician at Lucent Technologies in North Andover, MA.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Robyn; his children, Benjamin Tolman and his wife Pommy, Jaclyn Healy and her husband Robert, and Katelin Sellers and her husband Nathan; his six grandchildren, Damon, Auryn, Julia, Haneul, Cora and Jack; and his sisters, Karen Skurka, Paula Hollander, and Pamela Liberman and her husband Walter; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, David Tolman.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, August 29th from 10:00am to 11:00am at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A committal service will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in East Derry, where family will gather. In lieu of flowers, you may consider a memorial contribution to Globe Santa, a great cause close to Buddy's heart.
