In Loving Memory of Shirley Bernice Roach Alexander

Sunrise: January 31, 1941 – Sunset: October 2, 2025

With love in our hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Bernice Roach Alexander, 84, of Derry, NH, who passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 2, 2025, with her devoted and loving daughter LaTangela Alexander Robinson at her side.

Miss Shirley was born on January 31, 1941, in Palestine, Texas, a daughter of the late Ennis and Ruthie Bell Roach. Miss Shirley lived a life marked by strength, generosity, and devotion to her family. She married the late William Henry Alexander of South Bend, in Fort Worth, Texas. Out of this union they had two beautiful daughters LaTangela Alexander Robinson and Devoria Alexander. A proud grandmother to Taniq Alexander and Gianna and Brandyn Robinson, great-grand daughters Tori Alexander, Ava, Aria, Alivia, and great- grandson Alijah Robinson-Metellus, and great-great grandson Tylen Alexander-Murdock. Her home was a place of comfort, filled with laughter, good food, and endless love.

A service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, October 16th from 9:30am to 10:30am with a funeral service to start at 10:30am in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. Her burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, NH (Behind First Parish Congregational Church). Repass will be held at Alexander-Carr Lodge 28 Pierce Avenue, in Derry behind Parkland Medical Center beginning at 1pm.
