Mark A. Douglas, 62, of Derry, NH, died Friday, October 3, 2025, in VA Boston Healthcare System, West Roxbury, MA. He was born on March 11, 1963 in Cambridge, MA, a son of Harold and Joan (Bentubo) Douglas.

Mark graduated from North Reading high school in 1981. He then enlisted and served in the United States Coastguard from 1981 to 1987. He was so proud and enjoyed talking about his experiences and travel while enlisted. He also loved talking about his '67 red GTO that he had in his younger years and all the fun times he had with his best friend, Peter.

Mark was a great son, brother, father, husband, Uncle, Grampy. and friend and he will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kara (Canada) Douglas; son, Cameron Douglas and his wife Sam; daughter, Jordan Douglas; granddaughter, Evelyn Douglas; grandson, Andrian Gaudenzi; two brothers, Steve Douglas and wife Patty, Scott Douglas and wife Heidi, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 8th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
