BELLINGER, Kathy – of Clio, formerly of Saginaw, went peacefully to Heaven on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Funeral service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Colonial Hills Baptist Church - 5375 W. Mt. Morris Rd., in Mt. Morris. Burial in West Vienna Cemetery to follow. The family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 4PM until 7PM and on Tuesday at the church from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Mt. Morris.
Kathy was born January 15, 1952, in Saginaw, to the late John and Clara (Marme) Ennis. She worked as a teacher's aide at Tender Care Christian Preschool for several years and at Genesee Hematology Oncology for some time. She also taught Sunday school at First Baptist Church in Mt. Morris and Colonial Hills Baptist Church. Her most proud job, however, was being a stay-at-home mother to her three beautiful children, Annette, Robert, and Jeffrey. Kathy shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved best friend and husband, Wayne Bellinger, and together they attended Colonial Hills Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Stars and was a Job's Daughter. Kathy was known for her green thumb and love of nature that radiated through tending to her flower gardens and feeding the birds. She and Wayne loved going to the family cabin in Oscoda where they created countless memories with their children and grandchildren, and she had an extraordinary talent for making every holiday and birthday a moment to remember. From decorating to baking, Kathy understood that the magic of these special occasions lay in the love shared, and she poured her heart into creating memories that will be dearly cherished. Kathy herself was a sanctuary of happiness and love that will forever be missed by those who knew her.
Kathy is forever loved by: Husband, Wayne Bellinger; Children: Annette (Todd) Regester, Robert (Stephanie) Bellinger, and Jeffrey (Kerry) Bellinger; 10 beloved grandchildren: Logan, Elizabeth, Parker, Jeffrey, Emma, Madison, Grey, Beckett, Felix, and Sawyer; Sisters-in-law: Marilyn Ennis and Ila Bellinger; Many special nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Kathy was preceded in death by: Parents, John and Clara; Siblings: Mary Alice (Don) Parcell, Richard Ennis, and Donald Ennis; In-laws: Mona English, Lois (Dean) Nelson, and Lyle Bellinger.
