Kathy Lynn Boufford

 Kathy Lynn Boufford, 67, of Morganton, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at her residence.

 Kathy was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 3, 1957, to the late John Roland and Kitty Marie Robertson Roland. She was married to her husband of 43 years, Phillip Boufford. Prior to moving to North Carolina, Kathy lived in Tuttle, Oklahoma and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Verden. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting and home decorating. Kathy was very charismatic and had a great sense of humor. She always enjoyed ministering to others and was known to be a “rock of a person.” She dearly loved her family and her many friends, but most of all, Kathy loved the Lord with all her heart. She will always be loved and missed. 

 In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by an infant son, James Michael; and a brother, Richard Roland.

 Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Phillip Boufford; a daughter, Lindsey Boufford; a sister, Sharon Roland; a brother, Johnny Roland and wife Margaret; several nieces and nephews; many cousins; and countless friends. 

 In accordance with Kathy’s wishes, no services will be held.
