Kathy Cantu, age 49, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 in a local hospital following an extended illness. Kathy was born March 11, 1976 in Alice, Texas to Rogelio Cantu and Rosie Benavides. She is preceded in death by her father, son Erik Martinez, and grandmother Virginia Cervantes. Kathy loved to sing, color, gamble, animals, and shopping at Wal-Mart. She worked as a provider and a cashier at Lowe's Mercado. She enjoyed watching the Golden Girls, Ghost Adventures. Kathy loved each and everyone of her grandkids and was very spiritual.
Survivors:
Husband: Lee Roy Adams
4 Daughters: Savannah Martinez, Connie Martinez (Augustine), Emily Martinez (Obrian), and Kayla Martinez (Steven).
20 Grandchildren
2 Sisters: Denise Trevino (Jesse) and Erika Leveque (Scott)
Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins
Family will receive condolences Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 9AM to 10AM with a memorial rosary to be recited at 10AM in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in Alice, Texas. Services will conclude in the chapel.
Services entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home Alice.
