Kathy Jo Cobb, 76, of Midland, GA died Friday, December 6, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church, 5122 Pierce Chapel Rd., Midland, GA 31820 with Dr. Reverend Jerry Akin and Reverend Lynn Meadows-White officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd Columbus GA 31907. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Kathy was born March 12, 1948 in Columbus, GA to the late Oliver L. and Dora Cartledge Cobb. After working for many prominent establishments, Kathy retired from Litho-Krome as a Computer Specialist.
Survivors include her sister, Lafaye Cobb (Jim Goldstien) of Virginia Beach, VA; nephew, Richard Dean Goldstein (Laura) of Virginia Beach; great niece Gloriana Dean Goldstein, Violet May Goldstein and special nieces Laura Willoughby, Leslie Mockalis, and Linda Laye.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Pierce Chapel Methodist Church, 5122 Pierce Chapel Road Midland, GA 30120.
