Kathy Dills

Kathy Dills, age 67, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026 at her home.

Kathy was born Wednesday, July 2, 1958 in Corpus Christie, Texas to the late Bill Pressley and Jean Lindsey Pressley. She graduated with an associate’s degree from Isothermal Community College. Kathy worked for PPG/NEG Industries for several years and proudly worked as a commercial truck driver for many years. Kathy had a heart for underprivileged people having volunteered at Sister’s in Christ who helps the homeless and helping the elderly and the mentally and physically challenged at K.D. Support services. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. Kathy was also an avid animal lover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Smith and brother, Tim Austin.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Vince Dills; daughter, Amanda Hill of Forest City; sons, Tyler Dills (Amy) of Green Hill, NC and Brandon Todd of Golden Valley; sisters, Candy Pressley of Hendersonville, NC and Terri Adcock of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Taylor Alley, Sabrina Baugh, Cameron Baugh, Hallie Hardin (Corey), Alex Allison (Madison), Makenna Dalton and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Monday, February 23rd at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ted Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
