Matthew McDaniel Obituary
Matthew McDaniel, age 53, of Ellenboro, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026 at his home.
Matthew was born Wednesday, September 27, 1972 in Cleveland County to the late Billy McDaniel and Grace Hill McDaniel. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life, having worked for Fastway Oil Change and most recently for Alray Tire Center in Forest City. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, watching racing and was a car enthusiast.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Brian McDaniel.
Survivors include his sister, Anita McDaniel Greene (Chris) of Bostic; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends who he considered his family.
No formal services will be conducted.
