Mrs. Kathy LuAnn Fields, a beacon of love and generosity, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on September 24, 1962, Kathy's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the strength of family bonds.

Kathy was the beloved wife of Perry Fields, with whom she shared a remarkable journey of 44 years, filled with love, laughter, and enduring companionship. She was a devoted mother to her children, cherishing every moment with them all including Joseph and Micah Fields, who preceded her in death, as well as with Jennifer Lewis and her husband Ryan, Megan Charpentier and her husband Cody, Hayley Fields, and Caleb Fields. Her role as a grandmother to her seven grandchildren was one of her greatest joys, as she bestowed upon them the same unconditional love and wisdom that she shared with all her loved ones.

The daughter of the late Henry and Patricia Harris, Kathy was a caring sister to Karen Cassidy and Kim Mitchell. She held a special place in her heart for Hunter, whom she adored and treasured. Hunter, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and a multitude of friends, will carry Kathy's spirit and love forward.

Kathy's life was a reflection of her heart's deepest desire: to help those in need. She extended her warmth and care to everyone she met, earning her a reputation as a loving friend to many. Her compassionate nature was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her.

Kathy's home was always filled with life, laughter, and the kind of wisdom that can only come from a life well-lived and dedicated to others. Her absence will be profoundly felt.

Kathy's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but the memories of her love, her laughter, and her unwavering commitment to her family and friends will forever be cherished. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of the relationships she nurtured, the help she provided, and the joy she brought to every room she entered.

In the hearts of her loved ones, Kathy LuAnn Fields will always be remembered as a guiding light-a woman whose life was a profound expression of the love she had for her family and the community she served. Her spirit, characterized by boundless love and selfless giving, will forever be the standard by which those who knew her measure kindness and compassion.

A Funeral Service for Kathy will be at 11:00AM, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at The Baptist Tabernacle with Dr. David Moody officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens following the service. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home.
