Kathy Jones

MCCORDSVILLE – Kathy Lynn Jones, age 59, of McCordsville, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Community Hospital North with her family by her side. She was born in Greenfield on July 16, 1962 to Betty S. (Copeland) and Donal Edwards Sr. She graduated from Greenfield-Central High School and went on to study Laboratory Technology at Indianapolis Business College.
She worked as a lab technician at Hancock Regional Hospital for many years. Kathy loved reading and watching the Indianapolis Colts. She cherished time spent with her family especially her grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her mom, Betty Edwards; daughters, Brittany Ann McNeely (Michael) and Megan Ryann Clark (Matt); grandchildren, Angela Lynn Collins, Mason William Clark, Madison Grace Clark and Michael Lee McNeely; and siblings, Donal Edwards Jr. (Renee) and Joella Hedge (David). She was preceded in death by her dad, Donal.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Paul George officiating. Inurnment at Park Cemetery will take place on a later date.
