Kathy Lee Joslyn, 74, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on July 16, 1950, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Marvin Montague McNabb, Sr. and Betty Jean Maske Smith.
Kathy was a devoted mother, a cherished friend, and a woman with a deep love for nature, particularly her horses, butterflies, and hummingbirds. She found immense joy in watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow, cherishing every moment spent with them. Her home was a haven of warmth and love, where family gatherings were filled with laughter and stories.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, her beloved husband Sidney Joslyn, her daughter Kelly Sue Pierce, and her three brothers Allen McNabb, Kevin Whetstine, and Gary McNabb.
Kathy leaves behind a legacy of love and family. She is survived by her two daughters, Penny Nowlin of Siloam Springs and Mary White and her husband Jeff, also of Siloam Springs; her three grandchildren, Katie and her husband Aaron of Alma, Weston and his wife Ashley of Siloam Springs, and Emily; her three great-grandchildren, Payton, Rachel, and Bethany; her two brothers, Marvin McNabb and his wife Candy of Missouri, and Craig Whetstine and his wife Leisa of Alabama; and her sister, Belinda of Florida.
Kathy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, remembered for her kindness, her love for family, and her appreciation for the simple beauties of life. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
The family will hold a private service at Wilson Cemetery on July 26th at 11 AM.
