Nació el 22 de septiembre de 1971 en Irapuato, Guanajuato, México, hija de Andrés Barroso y Rosa Martínez. El 1 de marzo de 1990, Sofía unió su vida en matrimonio con el amor de su vida, Salvador Manjarrez Araujo. Juntos formaron una hermosa familia y criaron a seis hijos: Berenice Manjarrez (Andrew Bott), María Manjarrez Birch (Chris Birch), Grisella Manjarrez (Brandon Brown), Salvador Manjarrez, Allison Aliyah Manjarrez y Agustín Alexander Manjarrez. Fue una orgullosa y amorosa abuela de Jade Vida Birch y Ava Zinnette Brown, y esperaba con alegría la llegada de su tercera nieta, Charlotte Sofía Birch. She was born on September 22, 1971, in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Andres Barroso and Rosa Martinez. On March 1, 1990, Sofia married the love of her life, Salvador Manjarrez Araujo. Together they built a beautiful life and raised six children: Berenice Manjarrez (Andrew Bott), Maria Manjarrez Birch (Chris Birch), Grisella Manjarrez (Brandon Brown), Salvador Manjarrez, Allison Aliyah Manjarrez, and Agustin Alexander Manjarrez. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Jade Vida Birch, Ava Zinnette Brown, and eagerly awaited the arrival of her third granddaughter, Charlotte Sofia Birch. Sofia is also survived by her beloved mother and siblings: Rosa Martínez, Juana Barroso, Jose Barroso, Andres Barroso, Guadalupe Barroso, Angelica Barroso, Imelda Barroso, Francisca Barroso, Noel Barroso, and Laura Barroso. She was preceded in death by her father, Andres Barroso, and her beloved son, Jacob Manjarrez. A devoted homemaker, Sofia dedicated her life to her husband and children, providing them with unconditional love, care, and guidance. She was a faithful member of St. Raphael Catholic Church for 25 years and actively participated in the Cursillos de Cristiandad movement for 24 years. Her strong Catholic faith shaped every aspect of her life. Sofia will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and servant's heart. She loved cooking for her family, making people feel welcome in her home, and always had a smile on her face. She had a unique gift for lifting others' spirits, leaving every conversation filled with joy, comfort, and peace. To know Sofia was to love her and be loved by her. She radiated peace and joy, always choosing hope and living with gratitude. Her life was a true reflection of her faith in Jesus Christ, who was her constant source of strength.
