Kathy "Ms. Kitty" Mays, the daughter of the late Earnest and Daisy Marbray, was born March 2,1956, in El Dorado, AR. She departed this life on August 8,2025, at South Arkansas Regional Hospital in El Dorado, AR.
Kathy accepted Christ at an early age, and she was also a faithful member of Morning Star Baptist Church #2 for several years, where she remained until her transition.
Kathy departed this life on Friday, August 8,2025. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Daisy Marbray, brothers Earnest Lee Marbray Jr., Delton Ray Marbray Sr., Artemus Marbray Sr., and Charles Lee Marbray, and great-granddaughter Summer Qualls.
Kathy is survived by three children whom she loved dearly: two daughters, Shonda Tyler (Kelvin) and Demetris Gaskin, and one son, Maurice Marbray. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Janise Gaskin, Marriah Gaskin, Jharmesha Gaskin, Lakyra Gaskin, Atlantis Marbray (Cannon), Bryan Gaskin, Tyrese Bluford, Desmond Gaskin, and Jazlyn Reed, twelve great-grandchildren, and one special loved one, Lisa Miller, and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.
