Kathy Wilson Moody
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathy Berniece Wilson Moody, a cherished momma, mamaw, sister, friend, and beloved member of our community. Kathy was born on August 26, 1965, in Johnson City, TN, and she called this beautiful city her home throughout her life. She left us on December 5, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Dan Wilson and Lorna Davenport as well as sister Cindy Arnold and brothers, George Wilson, Danny Wilson, and Tom Wilson.
Kathy was a devoted Mom and Mamaw. Her daughters and grandchildren were the lights of her life. Her love for them was endless.
Survivors include daughter Tiffany and son in law Jeremy Bishop, Jessica and son in law Chuck Whitehead. Grandchildren Preston Beverly, Noah Beverly, Cheyenne Campbell, Kaden Walker, Zackery Carver, Jazmyn Carver, and Camara Whitehead. Also sister Connie Wilson as well as special friends Mack Padgett, Jan Silvers and Christina Whitson and many other friends and family including her CHCB girls.
To honor Kathy's life, a celebration of her life will be held at a time and place to be announced. Friends and family are invited to come together to share memories, stories, and support for one another as we remember the beautiful spirit that Kathy was.
In the coming days, we will share more information about the services, but for now, let's remember Kathy for all the joy she brought into our lives. Her warmth and laughter will be missed dearly, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
