Kathy´s love and devotion is a theme of the time I have known Kathy. Love for her dear husband Terry was a constant in her life. Their love connection was beautiful to behold and often times was comical as they loved to tease each other. Her family, what can fully describe her love and devotion to each one of them equally. She would show me their pictures and the stories behind the picture. She was their biggest fan. Kathy´s creative talents never ceased to amaze. She really got into it when making gifts for people, which were yet again with love and devotion. It didn´t take us long after meeting Kathy, to learn how broad her outreach was to bless other people and how knowledgeable on many levels of topics. She was a true Texan who was proud of her state and her country. The first time we met we talked flowers and our vision of a beautiful cutting flower garden. If you see our little veggie garden, the "garden" sign, Kathy bought that to make it look fun. She was fun and made us laugh. You know, Kathy was not afraid to be open, vulnerable and simply be herself. Being herself made me and others comfortable to be with her. She was always doing life with that same love and devotion. Amazing woman, one could write a book. My life is richer in every way because Kathy Newman influenced me every time we spoke. I love you Kathy, you hold a special place in my heart. I miss you and catch myself wondering about something and automatically say to myself, "I"ll ask Kathy, she will know the answer. I miss you girl. Love you always.
