Kathy Nolan Obituary
She is survived by her children, Misty (Gene) Knapp of Eldred, Luke (Ashley) Nolan of Carrollton, Katie Steinacher of Carrollton, Brittany (Ryan) Juhl of Eldred, her companion, Brett Ballinger of Eldred, nine grandchildren, Austin (Tessa) Knapp, Brendon Knapp, Emma and Ethan Nolan, Nola and Kye Steinacher, Raylan, Riggs and Rory Juhl, two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Elena Knapp, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Carolyn Crum, and a brother, Kyle Cox.
Kathy owned and operated Kathy's Corner from June of 2009 until May 2024. She was known for her catfish fritters and was voted the best fish in 2019 by the Greene County Shopper. She was a devoted mother and grandmother that never missed her children or grandchildren's events. She was an avid supporter of many community and sporting events over the years. She enjoyed playing slot machines, Emma's angel food cake, Brett's horse racing, a Moto Pepsi, and mushrooming. Her family was her main focus in life and She dedicated herself to make sure that she was there for them every day.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Airsman-Hires Funeral in Carrollton with burial to follow in Eldred Memorial Garden's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be suggested to Boyd Hospital Gas Card Program or BJC Hospice. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.
