Kathy was born March 9th, 1954 in Crandon to the late Gary and Denver (Chaney) Jameson. She graduated with her high school diploma from Nicolet College.
On July 3rd, 1976 Kathy married Walter Powell in Crandon. Together they had one daughter, Stacy also of Crandon.
Kathy worked various jobs throughout her life retiring from the bakery at Schaeffer's grocery store in Crandon. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends but most of all her favorite hobby was reading books.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Walter; daughter, Stacy (Robert Vladi); grandson, Riley; aunt, Cora (Dave) Campbell of the Town of Nashville; brothers, Mike Jameson and Tony Jameson both of New London; special cousin, Sherry Chaney; also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Gee.
