Kathy is survived by husband, Edd Smith of Crockett; son, John Pablo and wife, Cheryl of Freeport; grandchildren, Cordell Ferguson of Porter Springs, Chiane Luce and husband, Alton of North Zulch, Mia Pablo of Freeport, Jade Pablo of Freeport; great-grandchildren, Brixley and Bubba of Grapeland; brother, Richard Petterson and wife, Sara of Crockett; sister, Dimple Helbert of Diboll; several nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by parents, John Davis and Waneatha Petterson; and brother, Joe Petterson.
Funeral services for Kathy Petterson Smith will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2025 at the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Percilla Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday at 1:00 p.m. prior to service.
