Born May 22, 1961 in Lansdale, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Jean (Brasch) Young.
Kathy was employed as a Senior Analytical Chemist at Merck for over 20 years, retiring in 2017, and was a dedicated volunteer with Forgotten Cats. She earned a BA in Criminal Justice from Temple University and BS in Chemistry from Delaware Valley University.
Survivors include her brother, Gregory S. Young of Portland, CT.
Funeral services are private and under the direction of the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
