Mrs. Katy Woolwine

Mrs. Katy Woolwine, born on June 16, 1944 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to the late Dottie Keith (Newsom) and the late John Henry Marlar, passed away at age 75 on August 8, 2019 in Midwest City, Oklahoma from a heart attack. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Keith and Larry Keith; and grandchild, Alexandra Jurevich. Katy is survived by her husband, Thomas Woolwine (Midwest City); son, James King (Pennsylvania) and Jessie ; daughters, Anita Jackson (Midwest City) and Robert; Gayla Jurevich (California) and Steve; Therin and Diane Woolwine (Kansas), Tanya Pyle (Kansas), Trace and Susan Woolwine (Kansas), Trina DeMint (Colorado); brothers, Harry Keith and wife Christine; Harold Kennedy and wife Sandy; and sister, Ethel Jackson. During Katy's lifetime she worked as a donut shop manager, a sheet metal worker - in a time that no other woman did. She was a truck driver over the road. Driving her big rig was her passion. Later she returned to school and landed her dream job as a home health and hospice aide. Katy loved taking care of others. Katy has 31 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their thanks to everyone for their kindness and prayers during this difficult time. A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
