Kay Bomar was born in Marfa, TX on June 7, 1937 to Stonewall Jackson McSpadden, Jr. and Vera (Brown) McSpadden. She married William (Bill) Bomar in Littleton, CO on January 1, 1958; he preceded her in death in 2021. After 17 years as a stay at home mom, Kay started her career in IT and moved up to a senior position in IT security for the EPA. Later, she and her husband Bill started multiple successful businesses. She was a member of League St. Church of Christ since 2003 and a strong and faithful Christian her entire life. Kay and Bill started Bible studies in their home wherever they lived, sharing their faith whenever they could. Countless people have better lives due to Kay's help and love and sharing of the scriptures. Kay and Bill also enjoyed spending time with family, camping and working in their yard.
The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to very close family friend Joe Kelly for his help to Kay the past years as her health declined. He enabled Kay to enjoy her last years living at home surrounded by her dog Gigi and cat Philistine and many deer and birds that provided her tremendous enjoyment. She was a friend to all living beings and loved nature. Kay very much appreciated Joe and even learned to enjoy watching golf.
