Kay Ann Killion Buranen, 92, passed away peacefully May 3, 2024 at Good Samaritan Home in Pipestone, Minnesota. She was born in Madison, South Dakota to Guala Nicholson Killion and William Killion. After living in Flandreau for many years she moved to Pipestone with her 2 sons and mother to seek employment. Kay joined AVON and became a top seller with the company and earned many awards. She worked her route year round for 44 years on foot as she never learned to drive. She was preceeded in death by her parents and her older sister Willetta. She is survived by her sons, Jerald Van de Voort (Barbara) and Todd Buranen (Staci), 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A family graveside service will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Madison, SD, at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, June 27, 2024.
